Player Experience: Let's Make it Better!

Hi folks!
You have probably noticed a lot of small changes and tweaks popping up FE, from mini-map tooltips to skill detail pages and more. The goal of these small changes is to increase the “accessibility” factor in Fallen Earth, and generally just make it easier to use for everyone. While we want Fallen Earth to remain a complex and challenging game, the challenge shouldn’t come from figuring out the system, but from figuring out how to make it work best for you. We’d like to go through a few of these changes and give you an idea of how they work, where applicable.

With our last patch (2.39) we introduced multiple mission tracking, new icons to better differentiate between merchants and trainers, new faction colors for player radar icons and new mount icons.  We also added pages players can access from the attribute window that give more details on the function and abilities of their Stats and Skills/Mutations.  These pages should help players better design and plan their builds, both at high and low levels.

When our 2.4 patch (Global Territory Control) arrives, you will see even more tweaks and functionality improvements to the basics of Fallen Earth.

Find Nearest Garage (ability)
Now, if you get lost in the canyon with an empty fuel tank or a dead horse you will be able to get the waypoints to the closest garage to refuel, repair or heal your mount.  Since we’re giving you the waypoints you’ll be able to store all the locations of your favorite garages!

Gear Slot Reduction
We have reduced the amount of gear slots necessary to fully equip your character. The amount of resistances are the same, but gloves, lower and upper arm armor and thigh pieces will now function like boots - equipping one will equip the set.   While this does limit some of the customizability, we will be addressing that through more custom clothing options rather than through forcing players to hunt out available matching sets.

Improved Trainers
Trainers and skillbooks are a constant source of frustration, inventory clutter and are just generally a bit clunky.  For all combat skills and mutations, the book system has been replaced with trainers who will directly give knowledges. The recipes that use the books have been adjusted to use other components.

A Brighter Night
We’ve also made some tweaks to the sky box so players will be able to see the things lurking in the dead of night just a bit better.   The change is subtle enough to not ruin the feeling of trekking across a wasteland, but enough to prevent interruption in gameplay. We’re also making day longer to give players a bit more time in the sun.

Chat!
We are adding sector chat so players will be able to communicate with all the players in order to better get groups and socialize. This will be available to everyone in the sector regardless of sub level.

Beyond GTC

AI Improvements
A common complaint from players level 1-55 is that the AI can sometimes seem a bit underdeveloped in its decision-making capabilities. We have been spending a lot of time reviewing how AI in Fallen Earth behaves, and improving it for a more challenging and fulfilling experience, across the board.

Other Stuff
We have plenty of ideas and stuff we are already looking at, but do let us know what YOU think would help improve the general player experience. Obviously things that cast the widest net for the most benefit will take priority, but if it's something specific to PvP, or vehicle crafting or whatever, and it's awesome, share it here or on the forums and it might get done!

See you in the Wasteland!

  2. With the multiple mission tracking, can we get color-coded indicators or something? When I have several missions being tracked, I have no idea which mark is for what mission once I get moving around a little, and end up going to the wrong waypoint! Also, what happens if we already _own_ some books that we haven't used yet?

    1. Combat/Mutation skill books will still work after the update, so no worries there.

    2. Multiple way points can also be 'deselected' in the missions window (J key) or hovering the mouse over a waypoint on the HUD map or expanded map allows the quest name to pop up.

    3. you can filter your missions in the (J key) missions window or hover the mouse over your waypoint(s) to reveal the specific mission

  3. It would be awesome if the Hounds and the Teamakers would show up on the mini map as a different color. I hate them the most and they show up as brown and orange, blending in the mini map a bit too much while I stick out as bright red. CHOTA!!!!BRAWR!!!!RAWWW!!!!

  4. We need more engaging PvE content, also a revamp on the dungeon system to make it more out there for everyone, that way it's easy for people know what they are and for them to make groups.

  5. Hello Dev Team,

Must say, most of the features of game (crafting, battle system maps and etc.) are good enough. Of course they're not perfect, but, in my humble opinion, you guys should work in unique features, specially the ones players have been asking a long time ago and we all know that the game supports it. I'm talking about "Housing System", or, if it's too much improvement for now, a "Clan Keep custom System" where we could construct a Headquarters to the clan, with some modules (vaults, workbench, researching stuff, etc.). Same with housing system ,but only more personal stuff. Of course that this things shall NOT be made like "Hey, I'll make a house for me -- pay a NPC for a land deed, click and pff! the house appears! -- Nahh, a whole crafting tab for house parts and components to be made and joined, and afterwards, set on ground like the Citadel / Stronghold buildings. Same wth Clan HQ (I suggest a bunker similar building, like the instance ones), but with much more higher demand of parts and components required. Why all this difficult? Because the game IS difficult and somehow demands teamwork and maturity in most of the time. So a house is a big step on a Wastelander's life, this way, shall be made with huge work, like everything we do. Same with Clan HQ, proportionally freaking super-duper teamwork and resource collecting and crafting.
Well, sorry for not be able to resume all this, but this is my idea. Rather than this, all the improvements made from patch 2.39 and futurely 2.4 will make the game pretty more realistic and expandable. Cheers for the hard work and excellent results!

    1. One thing I just forgot (just focused on Housing system). Please, for the sake of God or whatever deity, pay more attention to the RP community!!
THe game turned out to be -- level hard, reach lv 55, play PvP forever -- and everyone's seeing that the factors PvP, Cash Shop are receiving a lot more attention than PvE and RP. Most people from P2P times complain that since FE turned F2P, that most things on the World, specially RP, went to ground and discarded like ... rubbish. So please, some occasional events in RP changing the World as well would be awesome (like a possible discovery of a massive attack of --acid-spitter guinea pigs-- [ok, my bad, just a joke], Super Mutants in major cities like New Flagstaff) and the RP background should cover the defense of the city. Maybe nothing so big [or yes, something like that] but just to catch the idea of RP events changing the World somehow.
Hope my idea and my poor english were understandable enough to explain that brainstorm on my head regarding FE improvements.

  6. One thing I would love to see is a tutorial that covers PVP and bloodsports. BS fizzles out after lvl 19, however, 5-9 could be more popular if more lvl 5-9s knew about it, as well as the benefits.

It would also be nice if there were some explanation/strategies for doing assault, 90% of the players in there have no idea what they're doing (defenders attacking mutant out of ignorance instead of pity, no one knows how to do the 2nd objective, etc)

Also, some better PVP specific rewards would be nice, I mean, the BS armor is neat and all, but it's virtually useless compared to other armor of equal level, the same goes for the weaponry only times 2.

With that said, it'd be really cool if more variety of Chest/Groin armor were added outside of the marketplace. It's a bummer for us females to have to deal with either pants, long shorts or super short skirts. While were on the subject of that, the option to change the "bra in a can" bra painted on the top of my toon that sticks out like a sore thumb when I wear the spaghetti strap tops. Granted, I'm wearing armor 90% of the time, but just the idea that it's there bugs the hell out of me.

  7. How about the "more people in/on the same vehicle"? that would be the really fun!!!(as alot of people alredy said) About gears: why arent there some 1 handed swords/katanas and/or some throwing weapons, like throwing knives,Kunai,Shuriken, etc.? Anyway i think the Catastrophic(sonic mutation)skill's a bit weak...that costs alot of gamma, then why it is not more powerful? and as somebody said "all mutation attacks are too weak and costs too much" so if the dmg is ok,then need more +gamma stat to gears or something. Oh and about pvp: Bloodsport's need a lobby! Where the players can makes rooms,i know its a bit hard to make, but now the BS a bit useless cause of waiting. If I'll have more idea,I'll write down here, even if its cant possible to make...

I am a fairly new player and i love the game however, if it were not for my husband helping me in the begining i might have become frustrated and quit it was a bit confusing as to what exactly i was suppossed to be doing wether it was killing the first guy or contacting the first computer. Perhaps someone could look into that from an I've never played this before perspective and fine tune it a bit?

  9. I think the biggest thing this game is missing right now is better balance and more meaningful character customization. The way that weapon skills, armor use and first aid are insanely important to the point of basically being mandatory for a useful character while all other skills are pretty weak by comparison really makes the game less than it could be.
It would be nice to see mutations actually being able to take center stage in a character if you build for it, and it would be nice to see a more meaningful breakdown of class roles.

    1. I also agree. There should be more character customization. Mutations/Abilities need a some reworking..get rid of some of those useless abilities.

The UI raid window needs a New Over Haul. Its very buggy and clunky.
    1. Size of the Raid window needs to be adjustable...(most of the Ui should be)
    2. Make it so it's easier to mod the UI? People love when they have options to make new mods etc for UI's. Kind of why WoW and other games alike have it that way.
    3. Make it so you can take the teams apart and put them all over your screen.

This is how your game looks(Neverender this is for you =) )

  12. and notice how they posted this after all the rage about the may state of the game was posted to try to get us to turn off of what they were doing? this is just to silence us dont buy into it

    1. All the rage on the may state of the game was completely unnecessary.

Crafting queue for f2p goes to 1? Boo freaking hoo, do a survey on G1, get G1 Credits, buy something with it in the marketplace, heck get yourself a sub and remove all the restrictions. Problem solved. You also need to consider the fact that the game is completely playable (in fact, more so) without the crafting aspect. Sure it's really neat, but it's easier to make chips in other avenues and using those chips to get gear from the other people who've wasted time crafting (it's a timer based system, just like farmville or some other douchebaggy social game, it's nothing special, get over it).

All this crying and complaining that f2pers are "putting food on their table" (lol), really it's just a bunch of whiny brats who want to get something for nothing... which is fine, by all means it's great to get something for nothing, but don't start raging all over the internet because you're slightly, I repeat, SLIGHTLY restricted. It wasn't long ago that you were restricted to a 30 day/1 week trial that wouldn't allow you to go passed level 10, trade with other players or use the AH, now you're allowed to do much more than that, and even get rid of many of the restrictions by buying a 50 cent booster shot, and of course they're now obviously ruining the game. GTFO of here.

Also I love the posts about the game dying... Well, it's obviously still here (and these posts have been going on most likely since pre-release beta), they're still turning a profit... so... you're dumb?

      Delete
    2. slightly restricted? I'll be honest with you, the crafting is what made this game special. Without it, it is actually a pretty poor fps rpg which I wont bother to play. About the game dying I can only say that I went in sector 3 have a look at whats happening there and I can say that they were not many players around. By the way I am neither crying or whining, if the changes to crafting Q are implemented I will simply find another game to play, no drama.

      Delete
    3. LOL, please feel free to actually read the rest of my post. I listed some perfectly reasonable arguments for WHY you have been given so much more in the last couple of months, and simple ways to negate these changes.

If you're too cheap to buy something for $5 or too lazy to fill out a quick survey to get something for free in order to negate the changes, then by all means go play a different game.

I don't know what S3 you're in, but there are plenty of people there. You also have to consider that S1 is fairly small, S2 is larger, and S3 is quite large, so that reduces the amount of congestion. Besides, who wants to sit around in a place like oilville dropping your FPS to 3? I would be perfectly find with people leaving, that would be so much less people asking redundant or blatantly obvious questions in the help chat anyways.

      Delete
    4. Uh...maybe I missed something here, but when I looked at what they said they would be doing, they said nothing about being able to negate any of the new restrictions by doing anything special. All they said was it'd be based on your subscription. To me that says that F2P is going to be shafted hard without any lube and a pathetic excuse for a reach around and that's it.

That aside, do you just not know how these things work? Or do you live in some sort of fantasy world where things never go bad so long as you are willing to continue to pay for them? Games that start out P2P and then go F2P do so due to flagging interest. It's an attempt to drum up enough interest to keep the game economically viable. When the number of players starts dropping off while in a F2P model, that's the first sign that the game is starting to fail AGAIN. Eventually the people paying the bills that keep this game running (from now on referred to as "They") will decide that the falling player base means the game is no longer economically viable and take action accordingly.

Translation: Lose enough players or lose players at a fast enough rate and "They" will pull the plug before they start losing money and the game will be no more. And no, "They" won't care how much YOU paid to play or how much you cry about it when they do. If "They" care about your opinion at all they will simply disable the cash store and all subscription purchasing and set the game to die once the last subscription runs out. If they don't care, they will do most of the above while refunding all un-started subscription time packs and possibly any that still have half or more of their time left.

Anything that threatens the game's ability to retain players, F2P or P2P, should be taken very seriously. If enough F2P players drop, the game no longer has the population that past games have proven is needed to be considered interesting as a MMORPG, after all if there were enough P2P players to make the game playable AND profitable it wouldn't have gone F2P. And besides, who wants to be the only one playing a game that's designed to be played en mass? Past failed MMORPGs have shown that there is a critical point at which, statistically speaking, a game has lost too many players to recover and will continue to spiral downward until they cost more than they make and for the most part those that count as "They" are going to pull the plug on any game they are backing as soon as this critical point is reached so that they aren't pulling out at rock bottom and they can salvage what little face they have left by not losing money on their failed game.

With the number of people who raged about the planned changes, "They", in this game's case, should be very concerned about the planned changes (and so should the Dev Team on this game as it's their jobs that go poof when this game does.) as it's looking like they may be heading down towards that critical point soon...

  13. @chloes3353, if you didn't notice, the game already died at least once as the game changed of company and even of marketing (P2P > F2P). Probably 30 to 50% of players are F2P (probably more), so don't believe only subscribers keep the game alive.

    That being said:

    - Find Nearest Garage is useless/cheated, when you're stuck you use unstuck. Lol.

    - Gear slot reduction is logical. Hope the Gear UI will be reduced in same time...

    - Recipes book I didn't see any problem, the main problem of recipes is NPCs never got the ones I need, even on main towns.

    - You could invent godamn electrical / natural torches with better AoE than current useless Torch button. Why you use easy solutions ;p.

    - Working on AI is a good thing, no matter on what you worked, it can be only better than it was currently.

    -------------------------------------------

Some things you should truly care about :

    - Work on MAP REFRESH TIME. It deeply sucks (both teammates position, TP keeps infos, Events infos (boss, Progress Towns, etc). It should be made every 15 to 30sec, not every 1min or 2min.

    - Change the way toggles are currently working. When you push a toggle, it should automatically DISABLE the previous one (turning it OFF), even if the effect is WEAKER. Test it with Concentration and Dreadnaught, you will understand. Change color of activated toggle for a little animation (you know shiny corners, or that sort of stuff) rather than green color (which is used by others skills).

    - Work on raid/party window buffs bar section. It's really broken, I often don't see auras of others. As Anon said, raid window is the most boring window, eating 1/4 of the screen. I'm not sure WoW is good to follow.

    - When someone got an bigger aura in your party than you, remove the spamming message occuring every x seconds and instead transforms the ICON of the godamn AURA to reflect the CURRENT STATE (like a big red cross and when you put mouse on the icon bar it would say "Someone is already using a more powerful effect").

    1. Everything would be good/and true, what you said. Im with you...anyway about f2p: Can u imagine the game without f2p? that would be a real wasteland..like a single player game for those, who payed for it. Im not whinin about the crafting thing even im f2p..but everyone knows(or have to know) why the f2p is a good "feature". The f2p players are the community (mostly) cuz there are really more then 50% in the game. For an example: 5 p2p with 50 f2p is a more fun,community-like game, right? but imagine when just 40 f2p leave...15 players left. Sry for poor english, but hope you and everyone understand.

LOL the game never died when going from P2P to F2P... I know this because I was around during that time. Unless you consider morons crying about the game crashing for 3-8 hours every 10 minutes, yet even with that there were still tons of people hanging around, in fact, more so than usual.

I realize that F2Pers are there and there are quite a large amount of them, but these are people who haven't spent A DIME on the game. Once you make a purchase from the marketplace, you still are considered F2P, but a ton of the F2P restrictions are removed, therefor these people have no reason to complain. All the complaints are coming from the idiots who haven't spent anything on the game (therefore don't bring in any new revenue) and expect to be waited on hand and foot despite being given quite a bit.

Despite this, F2Pers will still be there, regardless of any restrictions placed on them. The game won't die over this, the company isn't going to close it's doors because a bunch of whiny brats who never gave anything to them decided to leave.

And even still, I had already mentioned this in my post above, if you aren't going to bother reading what I wrote, don't bother trying to respond.

  15. I was thinking all time to add helicopters, Planes, public trains, that idea would be awesome speacially the trains, helicopters and planes, in planes for thoose should be an option to jump whit parachute same whit helicopters, in that option would give player option that group player or friends enter in the friend vehicle in the passenger seat, that way helicopters same as planes would give passengers in planes to jump whit parachute and do skydiving but this thing doesnt apply for the commander thats riding the plane this option would be only for passengers in the plane, now talking about trains, trains would be cool because that way players could travel destinations to places in places whit paying some chips of course, exemple: a Train Station in Mumford to Embry Crossroads, that would be like 4 Blues because trains would be very fast, another Exemple: from Sector 1 to Sector 2 that would like 16 Blues since you get there fast, now inside the trains player could chat inside the trains like a public place, players should be able to talk there like in other place and do anything but not PvP or Dueling or other tingh like that, so yeah that my ideas, hope you like it... See you in the Wastes

  16. I think nights should get darker, not brighter. I have a flashlight, and I know how to use it. I can already see perfectly fine at night in FE and I've only really needed to use my flashlight once or twice. A darker night would be great for ambushes and I think would give a little more complexity to the game. Also, this is the wasteland/apocalypse after all, why should night time not be more terrifying than day time? Do your daytime longer and make night time the way it should be, scary.

  17. Maybe a little tweaks about cars and motors in game like think about this how can racer type motorcycle or race car can go at offroad faster then ATV or dune buggy ? and maybe some addition to cars like pickups or APC?

another one think about PvP the level cap is all ready reached by to many players I'm not sure but with GTC its make some down sides I think maybe AP cap must be go up to 2000+ or something but it must have higher than now.

one more think about crafting ammunition at maximum production rate player can produce 10k in 1 night row but pistol users spend really fast may be crafting need some additions on this

good work and have fun :)

  18. I agree with the points made by both MAximilian and Rogerio Lazaro.

I agree with MAximilian that skills and especially mutations need some work to make them more viabel thus making more viable options for character creation.

I agree with Rogerio Lazaro in his points on the housing system. I do think however that some form of system is needed to avoid player owned structures (PoS) to overflow the wasteland. It could be a boring system of natural decay unless some upkeep or repair is made to the PoS. Or it could be a more fun option where Pos are under attack by intruders trying to take the PoS or destroy it, where the bigger the PoS the more dangerous the intruders. This way the idea of the wasteland being a dangerous place is upheld, and it would make building houses more interesting addind an element of tactical sense in the defense of ones PoS. Also one could imagine people would build homes together, thus forming small villages to aid each other in defense, thus keeping in concept with Fallen Earth and the wasteland.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Another ideas:

I think it would be better if we can see our own faction and allies on minimap only, but not the enemies. Maybe with or without some stealth feature or something. ("More adrenaline pumpin pvps are the real pvps")

Need a "sort" button or something like that to the inventory, cuz sometimes its randomly scatterin the items in it.

...And again the "more people in/on the same vehicle" then a bigger vehicle for groups.

Darker nights with special agressive "only night mobs" which are spawned only at nights if its possible. Maybe they would attackin towns...
and if darker nights, then we have to make some flares or torches or anything like that, what everyone can see.
...Oh and if not the "special mobs" but the AI changin at nights to more agressive and maybe the alredy exist mobs would be stronger a bit at nights for making real Danger.

I hope you understand my poor english.

  20. Hey any chance to get better details about AI improvement? It has always been a hot topic since the release, and it has always been one of the worst things ever in Fallen Earth. I think this improvement deserves something more thatn 3 rows and the end of the patch notes, come on!!! )=(

  23. How about daily quests? For a slight change of pace, the player should be given a choice between a scaled to level all EXP reward or all chip reward, a scaled but somewhat lesser EXP and chip reward or a scaled, even smaller EXP and chip reward with some ammo or trade skill components thrown in.

Jumping on the multi passenger vehicle idea. With that in mind, how about adding Vans and/or Mini Vans as craftible vehicles?

  24. How, about a response from G1 or the Devs??

  25. Sacavenging
I'd like to see more robust scavenging/harvesting. Harvesting a wolf should always provide access to meat, hide, frequent access to biological materials, plus the various tertiary items like fangs, claws, etc. There is no reason meat or leather should be "lottery" item.

    PvP
I'd like to see PvP player level balanced. I understand the need/desire to make the player progressivly stronger as he levels in order to deal with PvE content progression...I get that. But the whole purpose behind that shouldnt apply to PvP...its player vs player, not player vs player level.

How do you model this? Allow for the various improvements in armor, weapons and specials to come mainly from an increase in a new damage type. This damage type ONLY hurts NPCs. And NPCs would have a damage type that only they deal for which higher level armor would be gain increasing resistance to. So as you skill up, you become more resistant to and able to deal increasingly more damage to NPCs. This damage type can be NPC variants of tye current damage types. So while we'd weapon and armor stats that show output and resistance let's say to ballistics as Ballistics XXX/NPC Ballistics YYY, or Fire XXX/NPC Fire YYY. NPC values will increase with skill level dramtically greater than the standard value...the standard value would apply to both PvE and PvP...the NPC value only in PvE.

This doesnt mean higher level players gain nothing over lower level players in PvP, just much, much less. This allows for the normal leveling model for PvE, but leaves the PvP battlefield more balance.

Players will gain perks in PvP while leveling, they'd gain access to weapons with progressive, yet small bonuses in Rate of Fire, Damage output, clip size, etc over previous models(much like now, but with less disparity in damage output per hit between bottom and top tier models within a weapons class)...while creating balance and dynamics through various disadvantgeous like increased reload time, greater round dispersion, etc.

The end result would be PvE that is level restricted as intended, but a PvP battlefield made open all comers regardless level. Where sound tactics arent God-smacked by uber level advantage.

PvE should give a nod for time spent in the past up to that point by rewarding you access to higehr level content...but is different, PvP should only reward for what you're doing now...it should reward for sound tactics, sound decision making.

  26. Well, I have a proposition, sort of ...

    New recipe : Paintspray
The basic idea is to permit to players to put their mark on buildings, landscape, whatever. Multiple levels of the recipe are possible, each one increases the length the paint will stay visible to other players. For an example, basic paintspray could stay for a couple of hours while more advanced paintspray could last for couple of days.

There is two possibilities for the appareance of the mark :
    - text based mark
    - graphics based mark
The first one could be used to let a message readable by other players (Kilroy was here, copper at east, vistas stinks), while the second one could be used to display logo of clans on camps and so on.

The major benefits of this feature are :
    - a more apocalyptical world (paints, paints everywhere !)
    - the possibilities to affect the world the character lives in
    - if the players grab this idea, we could imagine that factions will start to set some raids up, to paint their logos in rival factions controled towns. Imagine that you wake up to see a giant logo on the main building of your town saying " dont deserve to live!". Great RP possibilities, no ?

Some things to think to : components needed, lvl at which paintspray are available, how to chose the text/graphics that will be displayed (chosen in the player preferences, chosen at the moment the paintspray is used ...), how to chose the color of the mark (fixed when the item is crafted, fixed when paintspray is used like the dye kit ?) ...

Hope that this idea will get the attention of some readers :)

  27. It should have been written :

"[insert insult your rival faction use when speaking of your faction] dont deserve to live"

  28. Few thoughts about vehicles.

    CARGO ESCORT
Minimum 3 players, one with cargo vehicle or special, slower mission vehicle.
Aim: to escort cargo from point A to point B, bandits will try to take it from you even if it means to take your life with.
Rules: players can set the difficulty (easy, normal, hard, expert) - mobs level based on average party level and mob types based on chosen difficulty, cargo amount (little, normal, big, huge) - mobs amount and (maybe) vehicle speed, destination (few towns or a lucky strike which means it could be any Franklin Riders post. Any.)
Rewards: based on mission settings, from uncommon and rare mats, through dye kits and keys, to high-end gear and itemshop items for the ones than aim high.

    CLAN VEHICLES
    a) transport truck / bus / coach
Can take up to 20 clan members and has little cargo space. Moderate crafting difficulty, some rare materials and a lot of uncommon ones. It would require contribution from more than 4 clanmembers (in crafted parts) and a lot of crafting time to do.
    b) armored truck / special forces truck / tank
4 people in crew - driver, mechanic, gun operator and cannon operator. It would of course require a lot of rare mats, would be much harder and time-consuming to do but offer great advantages on PvP areas and maybe new death toll maps. It would require contribution from more than 5 clanmembers (in crafted parts and guns).
While anyone will be able to jump in the bus as a passenger, bus driver and combat vehicle crew will be designated by clan master (by giving people proper rights).

    SOLAR POWERED VEHICLES
Just a little addition to advanced vehicles recipes.
    - solar panel active in daytime (so no stamina regen by night)
    - good cargo horse stamina regeneration frequency with activated solar panel
    - little cargo capacity
    - a bit better than basic fuel efficiency

  29. I really only want 3 things:
In order according to what I want the most

1> A metronome- I play guitar while playing FE while crafting and would so benefit from an ingame metronome. (I know this means absolutely nothing to 99.999% of the players, but would mean the world to me.)

    2> Fishing- I love fishing

3> Private land lots we can use for various housing and hunting and harvesting purposes.

I fully understand if none of this get put into the game and won't hold it against you if it doesn't. I'll use the dog pant as a metronome or something:)

  30. TAXI SERVICE via player to player, mounts that can carry 1 additional passenger for chips or trade. also a great way to get to know your fellow clones by picking them up and taking them along for the ride. just an idea.

  31. just a few notes

-fix bug where actions get stuck in ´cooldown´
-update more frequently on team position mini map
-add some rough/steep terrain to tc so horses and buggy can serve as excellent transport between keeps off road, instead of having zone filled with batmobiles and please smoothen the terrain in the urban parts... theres some areas especially in centre where a simple 5 inch boardwalk halts a car/bike cant have that in a realistic game and maybe a shaking scope when u are getting fired at would be nice but now im askin too much

  32. I was thinking in other idea, adding passenger seat in horses, cars, and motorcycles, for cars there would be 4 passenger seats, that only team mates could get in the passenger seat, for motorcyle 2 seats, horse same...

I think these guys have some good points and ideas so I just wanted to sort of vote for there points by relaying it again. For myself

In essence I want better vehicle combat:
-Be able to look around FPV while in/on a vehicle
    -Better Vehicle weapons ex.50cal/MARK 19
    -Cannons?
-Light tank or a MECH, like in the Matrix/star wars/Chrome just like a walker or something.
    -Weapon mounts that rotate 360'
    -Weapon mounts with optic zoom

    For foot
-bigger weapons ex. grenade launcher/AT4/LAW/RPG/mini gun
-More exosuits ex. iron man/halo/fallout: brotherhood of steel combat armor.

    Gameplay
    -cinematic episodes
    -more voice over
    -Voice chat in-game
-Be able to look around FPV while in/on a vehicle

The potential of this game seems unlimited. You guys do a great job. You have good pace in making corrections or listening to your fans. I feel like my thoughts will be read, but I understand if they do not come true. I just want to be like MAD Max or TANK Girl or Desert Punk in this game.

  34. Hello everyone. My mate red_bat54 and I both play Fallen Earth and think it would be amazing if you could set up permanent settlements as a player by using items that you salvage. I think most of the FE community would love this to be put in too. Cheers

  35. I have any idea that will really change this game! Alot of the guns on this game look different but all rifle have the same sound all snipers have the same sound all pistols have the same sound. and if any of you have a sniper on your back or in your inventitory when you pull back the bolt its on the other side the the hand isnt ever thouchin the bolt. This happens with my scoped magnum rimfire rifle. But not the point. ill get back to the sound. I think all of the guns should have different sounds! the starter gun (Slugthrower) looks like it should have a sort of sniper sound to it. Just not the damadge. I have a pair of revolvers and when i shoot them i get the same sound as i did my last pair of pistols (The Soultions) when i expected to hear more of a huge sorta BANG! because if you have seen or heard a mangum being fired they r lound ang big. Another thing i think should be in the game is make the guns bigger in first person. The rimfire i have looks HUGE! in third person but tiny in first. make the guns the actual size in first person. Reloadin with duals. The toon reloads on pistols and both of them are magically reloaded when he only did one mag. another thing is. Motorcycles cant get up all terranes. Try to get up the metal ramps in boneclaw! Yes you can use the other ones but i want mine to be quik not long an tedious! Heresgo. The Moods. They arnt really noticable unless your looking for them. Try to give them more of a..... Feeling and stuff! that is what must have or may now just be on your minds.

  36. what i'd like to see:

    -New/expanded weapons:
Things like incindiary shotgotns, emp-crossbows, psychic focus melee weps, toxic weapons arn't seen much at high levels. these should be brought up to 55 as well. Even at 55, you don't really see much variation in what people use. each weapon archetype has about 2-4 unique weps you seen used CONSTANTLY at 55, some variation would be fantastic. Maybe even new types of weapons within the archetypes. Such as machine guns for heavy weapons (only really aimable at crouch or prone for balance reasons :P ), and so on. just some variety at the high levels.

    -new and balanced vehicles
i'd like to see atv's and dune buggies work much better off road, and for motorcycles and intercepters to be amazing on road. it seems like this is how it was origionally meant to be, but bringing it back to this would change things from "everyone use motorcycles because they are the best vehicle of all, on and off road". in territory control, offroad, motorcycles move faster than dune buggies in every situation. Some new vehicles would be nice too. pickup trucks, humvees, ect.. just some variation would be great in already existing vehicle classes.(i'd love to see a pickup/humvee i could park, hop into a machine gun turret in the back, and use to defend an area in pvp :D)

    -new pvp areas:
i'd LOVE to see an open-world dense urban pvp zone with lots of buildings in various stages of disrepair, alleyways, multiple floors, and so on. no real fortress fortress's, but a 8 story building with boarded up windows on the first floor would be fun to assault to the top of :D. just sick of only fighting in the woods or a single facility. Also a "warzone" area with trenches, craters, and so on (just fragged to hell) would be fun too! with some new rewards for fighting in these places so people are actually drawn there :P

    -The augmentation system:
i know it's been in the works, but please allows us to add bonuses to almost all skills (also bonus armor, regens, boosts to stats/hp/stam/gama, so on) to armor, and have actual weapon improvements like silencers, extended mags, improved scope types, recoil compensators, single shot granade launchers, ect... to all weapons (i'd LOVE to be able to put a silencer on my sniper rifle O.o )

    Finally and more glaringly

    -Skill/mutation balance and viability:
As it stands, you can't tell what skills passively do for you, and it also many mutation and skill lines just dont get used for one reason or another. Escape artist seems pointless since people just see you on the minimap nomatter what. dodge? the ability is rather useless, and it doesn't really effect your stats. primal? sonic? suppression? rarely if ever used. Really about 2 different "builds" are used (with minor variation)and that's it. pvp is rather stilted too due to what skills and stuff are used. the majority of the time, when you get attacked, it's "pistol, pistol, pistol, empathy heal, pistol pistol"... and that's it. it's an uphill struggle for rifles and melee, or those even focused in first aid over empathy. i'd like the ability and mutation lines to be looked at, and observe pvp as to what is absolutely most common and bring up the lines that are falling sharply behind so that they are useful as the wasteland changes and improves :D.

  37. Thanks for the update but if you want customer input, I can tell you one thing that would make the game better and keep more players playing. Get rid of Radash he is abusing his power and muting and locking accounts for no reason. Sure you might think the gm's are like gods and are incapable of doing wrong, that the customer is always wrong. But if you pull up some logs, and do your own research you will see he has been abusing his power since he first started out being a GM.

  38. What i think is this game is absolutely wonderful nonetheless and has many features that most games should look up to and with everything u can do in the game it draws the player in as it should but as some of the reviews before me says i think it just misses more weapons say AK 47, m4a1, desert eagle etc. more army equipped weapons to give the feeling that the player is actually in a real life apocolypse and isnt limited to certain weapons and attachments, another feature i would like to add is the default crosshair now this is a problem because when you want precise aim and on spot accuracy the fact that the reticle jumps around makes it harder to hit your target which takes away the fun of the game and harder to survive in PvP combat so more crosshairs like a red dot reticle and such would add flair to the game, more vehicles to drive like motorbikes, trucks and if no other ideas are present possibly an aircraft and if possible as well make it so that two players can ride in the same vehicles and allow more animals with ablilties of their own to assist all and any player in battle.. But thats my review for what i think and apparently others can agree would make not every player excited to know more about and play FE but as well make you guys as developers and such more money ! With that being said Keep Up The Good Work ! =)
